Card Reports
Welcome to the "Card Reports" section of our website. In this section you will find several free card reports (links below), which provide detailed ratings of credit cards in various categories. Since 1998, our parent organization, Citizens for Fair Credit Card Terms, Inc. (CFCCT), has been devoted to being the leading source of objective credit card rating information. We currently offer over 20,000 credit card reviews/ratings, most of which include convenient online application links. We are not aware of any other consumer resource that offers more reviews. For more information about our rating methodology, please click here. We are also pleased to offer some general consumer tips on how to choose the right credit card based on your individual needs and preferences. |
How our Ratings Can Help You
Our ratings (links below) could save you literally hundreds of dollars in credit card interest or finance charges in a matter of months. For example, a card that has an annual percentage rate (APR) of 7.0% could save you hundreds of dollars in finance charges when compared with a card that has an APR of 19.0%. Or, if you pay off your credit card(s) every month, there is a "virtual gold mine" of credit card rebates and rewards that you can "lay claim to" just by using certain credit cards to make everyday purchases. For example, you can earn free airline tickets, free gas, and even cash. It is not uncommon for cardholders to receive hundreds of dollars in cash and/or free airline tickets during any given year! Similarly, many small business cardholders receive thousands of dollars in rebates each year. |
Featured Offers: About
Important Consumer Notes! It is strongly recommended that you know what your credit score is when "shopping for credit cards". A high credit score is often the key to obtaining the most attractive credit cards (a credit score over 700 will increase your likelihood of getting approved for the best credit card rates, benefits, etc.). A high credit score will also help you to obtain the best rates on other types of loans, as well as the lowest insurance rates. You have the option to instantly obtain your official Experian credit score online for free 1 and to Instantly obtain your official Score Power® reports, that include an Equifax report, online for free- includes a 30 day trial membership. 1. We strongly suggest that you take advantage of all of these free credit score offers. If you were to purchase your credit scores from each of the three major bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion), you would spend up to $44.40. All offers include helpful information about how to improve your credit rating/score. All offers also include a free 30 day trial credit monitoring service (more info. below).
Offers Notes! If you decide to continue the trial membership beyond 30 days, you will be charged a monthly fee of $12.00 per month for the Experian offer and $7.95 per month for the Equifax offer. We strongly suggest that you take advantage of these free credit score offers. Each credit reporting company (aka credit bureau or credit reporting agency) compiles its own credit data. Thus, each credit reporting company usually contains different information regarding your credit score- your score will likely not be same for each company. Finally, taking advantage of these offers will not lower your credit score.
