If you’re looking for a business credit card that is easy to understand – no rotating categories, for instance, or points to redeem – and if you’re searching for a business credit card that gives you the chance to save money on everything you buy – cardholders can enjoy 0% intro APR for 12 months (then RegAPR) and 1.5% cash back on all purchases on an ongoing basis – the CardName may be the card for you.
CardName benefits
If you know you have some big business purchases coming up, and you’re currently interviewing credit cards to see which one you want to "hire," you may want to take a look at the CardName.
Not every business can just shell out a lot of money to replace a computer system or renovate their building. Sometimes you need to have a credit card spend that money, and you’d like to pay it back over time.
That’s where the CardName may come in handy. Twelve glorious months to pay things off at your leisure with no interest rate is a nice perk (after this intro period, RegAPR applies). Plus, there are plenty of other things to like about this card. See Rates and Fees
CardName cardholders enjoy the following benefits:
- Unlimited 1.5% cash back for your business on every purchase, everywhere – with no limits or category restrictions
- No annual fee
- Rewards won’t expire for the life of the account
- Redeem your cash back rewards for any amount
- Free employee cards, which also earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on all purchases
- $0 fraud liability for unauthorized charges
- No foreign transaction fees
What credit score is required for the CardName?
You’ll need at least good credit for the CardName card. Generally, that tends to mean you’ll need at least a 670 credit score, though Capital One may take other facets of your credit history into account when deciding on approval.
What are the potential downsides of the CardName?
Fortunately, there is no real dark side to the CardName card. If you "hire" this card, you won’t find out later that it’s robbing you blind by stealing and hoarding office supplies (in other words, there’s no annual fee or foreign transaction fee or other hidden fees). See Rates and Fees
But like any employee you hire, you might think, "Here I bring you on my staff… maybe you could work a little harder."
It is possible, in other words, to find credit cards with higher cash back rates or longer 0% intro APR periods. You might be somebody who doesn’t mind rotating credit card categories and would love to see some higher cash back category of 3% or 5% for travel or office supply purchases, perhaps. If that’s you, the simple rewards structure this card offers may be a bit of a let down.
How does the CardName compare to other cards?
CardName vs. CardName
discontinued
There aren’t many credit cards that could be considered twins, but these two credit cards really are alike. They even have the same name. They both offer 1.5% cash back on everything and have no annual fees and no foreign transaction fees, and with both cards, you can get free employee cards, which also earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on all purchases.
While perhaps twins, they aren’t identical. First off, you need excellent credit for approval consideration for the CardName. It’s recommended that you have good credit to apply for the CardName. Their APRs are also a little different, the good credit version features a RegAPR APR (See Rates and Fees) and the excellent credit version a RegAPR APR (See Rates and Fees).
Finally, with the CardName new cardholders can earn $500 once spending $4,500 on purchases within the first three months of opening an account.
CardName vs. CardName
discontinued
You could call the CardName the older sibling of the CardName. It isn’t a twin, though these cards are also similar.
With the CardName, cardholders can earn a one-time cash bonus of $2,000 once you spend $30,000 in the first three months, plus earn an additional $2,000 cash bonus for every $500,000 spent during the first year.
The CardName has no cash bonus, just the possibly very helpful introductory APR offer.
And definitely worth noting – the CardName has no APR. You’re expected to pay the card off every month. If you don’t, you’ll be socked with a late fee.
The CardName card offers unlimited 2% cash back for everything you buy and unlimited 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, while the CardName gives you 1.5%.
Otherwise, the cards are fairly similar, though the CardName is definitely aimed at businesses that spend a lot. If you spend $150,000 a year, your annual fee will be refunded. There is no similar offering with the CardName card. (See Rates and Fees)
Who is a good fit for the CardName?
The CardName is a worthy card for the business owner who has some expenses coming up – and doesn’t want to pay for it all at once and would like to take advantage of the 0% APR offer – and who likes the idea of having a simple cash back strategy for shaving off the price on everything the business purchases.

Our Methodology
Survey methodology: CardRatings commissioned Op4G in September 2023 to conduct surveys among 1,869 cardholders nationwide. CardRatings website analytics from Jan. 1, 2023-Aug. 31, 2023 were used to determine a selection of the most popular cards and additional cards were included to add survey breadth. Responses to each of nine questions were given on a scale of 1-10 and respondents’ scores were then averaged under broad topics. To determine the overall score, responses from questions 1-8 were summed and the answer to "How likely are you to recommend this card to a friend, coworker or family member?" was double weighted. Current Scores reflect scores from the most recent survey (2023); “Past Scores” reflect scores from the 2022 survey.
