card_name Card welcome offer

If you plan to use your card_name as your "go-to" card for corporate expenses, you’ll be able to take advantage of a lucrative welcome offer. Cardholders can earn 150,000 bonus miles once spending $30,000 in the first three months from account opening.

card_name Card benefits

card_name is a strong card offering numerous benefits for your business. The majority of these benefits center on travel.

In addition to the eye-popping welcome bonus, you can earn 5X miles on flights and vacation rentals and 10X miles on car rentals and hotel stays booked through Capital One Travel. You earn 2X miles on all other purchases.

What does this translate to in terms of rewards? If you were to spend $4,000 a month on flights, $3,000 a month on hotel stays and another $2,000 on car rentals, you would earn 70,000 miles a month. That would be worth $700 when redeemed for travel-related expenses through Capital One Travel. Over the course of a year with those same habits, you would earn 840,000 miles, worth $8,400 in travel.

Beyond what you earn, you will also receive 10,000 bonus miles each year on your card anniversary and a $300 annual credit for travel booked through Capital One Travel.

Card membership also comes with unlimited free access to Capital One lounges and 1300+ airport lounges globally in their Partner Lounge Network for you and guests at airports around the world. In addition, you receive up to $120 in statement credits for your TSA PreCheck or Global Entry application fee.

Additional benefits include:

  • No pre-set spending limits
  • No foreign transaction fees
  • Free additional cards and virtual cards for employees
  • The flexibility to transfer your miles to Capital One travel partners, including Air Canada, British Airways and Virgin Red
  • Cell phone protection up to $600 per claim
  • $0 fraud liability
  • Extended warranty

How do you earn miles with the card_name Card?

The rewards program with card_name is delightfully simple, which is important for busy business owners. You earn 2X miles for every dollar spent, and there are no limits on how many miles you can earn.

In addition, when you do your travel booking through Capital One Travel, you can earn 5X miles on all your flights and vacation rentals and 10X miles on your hotel stays and car rentals. If you and your staff do a great deal of travel for business, these rewards can add up in a hurry.

You also receive 10,000 annual bonus miles on your card anniversary, as well as an annual $300 travel credit when you book through Capital One Travel.

Redeeming miles with the card_name Card

card_name offers a few different options for redeeming your miles through the Venture Miles app.

If you redeem your miles for travel-related expenses through Capital One Travel, each mile is worth $0.01. Earn 100,000 miles, that works out to $1,000 worth of travel expenses.

CardRatings Tip

Miles can also be transferred to more than 15 partner airline and hotel programs. The value then depends on the specific program; you can learn more in our Guide to Capital One Miles.

What are the potential downsides of the card_name Card ?

  • Like most premium cards, card_name requires an excellent credit score for approval, though, other factors may also be considered.
  • The annual_fees annual fee can be off-putting, but its easily covered by the welcome bonus, the annual travel credit, annual bonus miles and other perks.
  • You need to remember that this card is not a credit card, it’s a charge card. You are expected to pay your balance, in full, at the end of each billing cycle. This is important to note for budgeting purposes.

card_name vs. card_name

discontinued_disclaimer

While card_name offers a higher welcome offer of 150,000 bonus miles once you spend $30,000 in the first three months from account opening, the card_name bonus of 90,000 is more easily attainable, requiring just $8,000 in spending over the first three months of account membership.

card_name offers a higher standard rewards rate (2X miles to 1X points) and card_name cannot match the 5X miles on flights and vacation rentals and 10X miles on car rentals and hotel stays offered by Capital One. That said, the card_name does offer 3X points on the first $150,000 spent on travel, shipping, advertising, internet, cable and cell services.

card_name also doesn’t offer the same travel-related perks as Capital One such as airport lounge access and reimbursement for a TSA PreCheck or Global Entry application fee. However, accrued points are worth 25% more when redeemed through Chase Travel℠. That means the welcome bonus of 90,000 miles can be worth as much as $1,125 towards travel.

Finally, the card_name annual fee is much more manageable at annual_fees.

card_name vs. card_name

While card_name is a charge card, the card_name is a hybrid. Purchases of under $100 must be "Paid in Full" each month, like a charge card. Purchases of $100 or more are eligible to be "Paid over Time," like a credit card, with a starting interest rate of reg_apr,reg_apr_type. American Express is a CardRatings advertiser; See Rates and Fees

card_name offers a similar welcome bonus, though it is somewhat easier to attain. You can earn 150,000 reward points if you spend $20,000 in the first three months after your card is issued.

card_name matches card_name with 5X rewards points earned on flights (booked on AmexTravel.com), but only offers that same rate on hotels  (booked on AmexTravel.com), compared to the 10X miles on car rentals and hotel stays the card_name can earn on bookings made through Capital One Travel.

card_name also offers 1.5X points on eligible U.S. construction materials, hardware supplies, at electronic goods retailers, on software and cloud systems, and at shipping providers, as well as on purchases of $5,000 or more everywhere else, on up to two million of these purchases per calendar year. All other eligible purchases earn 1X point.

When it comes to the annual fee, the annual_fees charged by card_name is steep. See Rates and Fees

Is the card_name card worth it?

When it comes to the card_name, it’s all about your company’s level of spending and amount of travel. This card is not for everyone. The annual fee is hefty, but it can be easily covered if your spending and travel habits allow you to take full advantage of the Venture Miles rewards program. If they do, then the convenience, simplicity and lucrative rewards of the card_name card make it a powerful addition to your corporate wallet. See Rates and Fees

Our Methodology

Survey methodology: CardRatings commissioned Op4G in September 2023 to conduct surveys among 1,869 cardholders nationwide. CardRatings website analytics from Jan. 1, 2023-Aug. 31, 2023 were used to determine a selection of the most popular cards and additional cards were included to add survey breadth. Responses to each of nine questions were given on a scale of 1-10 and respondents’ scores were then averaged under broad topics. To determine the overall score, responses from questions 1-8 were summed and the answer to "How likely are you to recommend this card to a friend, coworker or family member?" was double weighted. Current Scores reflect scores from the most recent survey (2023); “Past Scores” reflect scores from the 2022 survey.
