Top card for cash-back rewards
You likely already have a cash-back card at this point, but there’s a good chance you’re just using a flat-rate cash-back card and are missing out on valuable rewards. What’s great about this card is that it allows you to choose the category where you earn the most rewards – further maximizing the amount of cash you pocket. It works great alongside a flat-rate cash-back card such as the CardName discontinued which earns 1.5% on all purchases. Use your BofA card to enjoy a boost on the rewards-earning on your choice category and the other rewards categories, and then the Capital One card to earn 1.5% back on all other eligible purchases, instead of just 1%. Both are no-annual-fee cards so it doesn’t cost you anything extra besides a little strategic thinking.

Top card for travel benefits
Maybe you already have the CardName or no-annual-fee CardName but are ready to explore what else the Venture family has to offer. The CardName comes with a plethora of valuable benefits that are sure to take your travel experiences to the next level. Think travel credits, anniversary bonus miles, and more. Plus, this card still offers the same great rewards structure you’ve come to know and love from other Venture products. Earn a healthy 2X miles on your everyday purchases as well as extra rewards on certain bookings through the Capital One Travel portal. Miles can then be transferred to eligible travel partners or redeemed to cover eligible travel purchases made with the card.

Top card for point redemption value
There’s a good chance you might already have the CardName but perhaps now is the time to upgrade to its more premium, sister version, CardName. Not only does this card come with numerous travel benefits, but rewards are worth a whopping 50% more when redeemed through Chase Travel℠. This is a step up from the Preferred’s value increase of 25%. This doesn’t mean you can’t hold both cards, though. In fact, having both cards, as well as other cards within the Ultimate Rewards family can be a smart move. This is because all rewards earned with Ultimate Rewards-earning cards can be pooled under whichever account has the highest redemption value, which in this case, would be the Reserve card.
Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards are also great for helping teach your family healthy financial habits. The CardName, for example, could be a great option for adding kids to the account as authorized users. That way they can learn how to responsibly make purchases with a credit card, all while earning the family rewards on every day purchases. Those rewards can then later be pooled and redeemed under an account like Reserve at a greater value for something like a family vacation. It’s a win-win for all!

Top card for premium hotel rewards
Chances are, as an Achiever, you’re ready to bypass entry-level hotel rewards cards. If you’re looking for a real VIP hotel experience – think room upgrades, property credits, Elite hotel status and more – a card like the CardName discontinued can help you have it. Enrollment may be required for select benefits. See Rates and Fees.

Top card for businesses
Similar to the Sapphire cards discussed above, the CardName also offers a boost on redemption value when rewards are redeemed for travel through the Chase Travel. That said, this is a great card to pair with other Chase business cards such as the CardName and the card_name. Each card earns rewards a little differently. By using the right card for the right purchase, you can accumulate rewards quickly and then pool them under your Business Preferred account for 25% more redemption value.
